The Protagonist works alongside Neil, played by Robert Pattinson, as they investigate arms dealer Andrei Sator, portrayed by Kenneth Branagh, who is connected to a future technology capable of ending the world.

A key part of the film involves a pincer movement strategy where actions are coordinated forward and backward in time, leading to battles where fighters move in opposite temporal directions. This creates highly intricate and visually complex action scenes.
