Synopsis

The Boys is a dark superhero drama set in a world where superheroes are treated like celebrities, controlled by massive corporations, and often abuse their power behind the scenes.

The story follows Billy Butcher, a ruthless man determined to expose and destroy corrupt superheroes after a personal tragedy involving the world’s most powerful hero, Homelander. He forms a group known as “The Boys,” made up of ordinary people fighting against superpowered individuals.

At the center of the conflict is The Seven, an elite superhero team managed by the corporation Vought International. Publicly they are admired as protectors of society, but privately many of them are violent, selfish, and manipulative.

As the series progresses, the conflict between The Boys and The Seven becomes increasingly brutal, exploring themes of power, corruption, celebrity culture, politics, and morality.
